Karma

Karma.

The hope of

The downtrodden and hopeful

Wishes of those of us wronged.

Karma-is a bitch,

Is the collective commentary about

Karma.

Yet, I see horrible people

Who, in this life,

Prosper despite

Their utter lack of caring

Or conscience.

Me, I have experienced

Karma.

But it is a fleeting friend.

Can I still believe in karma

With her inconsistencies?

Maybe today I can,

And tomorrow not,

But it is my wish for what goes around

To come around.
